Poll: Virtual Clients' Lobby Use
How do you handle virtual office clients who meet on a regular basis in your lobby or break areas, or some equivalent to a "business lounge"?
Servcorp to Open Ten U.S. Locations in Next 12 Months
Ten centers are also scheduled to open in the United States.
Servcorp’s strategy places importance on opening just one site at a time, and is focused on building an IT and communications structure that creates a global network. “A fully-converged in-house IT infrastructure is still merely a pipe dream for the bulk of other providers in the industry, so Servcorp is keen to strike while the iron is hot,” David Olsen writes.
Marcus Moufarrige, Servcorp’s Chief Information Officer and General Manager for South East Asia, was quoted as saying, “It may come as a surprise for some that we’re only now setting our sights on the US market, but what’s equally as surprising is that America doesn’t currently offer anything comparable to our serviced and virtual office products."
While it is good to be confident when entering into a new market, it can also be a mistake to underestimate the competition. Servcorp clearly thinks that it is doing something special that no one else has thought of. It will be interesting to see what it is. I bet the whole industry will be lined up waiting to mystery shop these 50 new centers.
