ValleyHQ Joins Pacific Business Centers
Pacific Business Centers (PBC), based in Palo Alto, CA, announced today that ValleyHQ, the leading provider of executive offices in Bakersfield, CA has joined their network and management structure. The Bakersfield offices are now co-branded as Pacific Business Centers and ValleyHQ. ValleyHQ’s co-founder and President, Sasha Poljak, will become a Pacific Business Centers Partner.
“Joining Pacific Business Centers gives us better access to economies of scale and increased operational efficiencies. This should enhance the value our clients receive and help us extend our marketing reach," Sasha said in a press release.
ValleyHQ is located at in the Bakersfield business district at 4900 California Avenue, Tower B-210, and has served the business community since 2006. The center offers 15,000 square foot of space, including 45 furnished executive offices and four conference rooms capable of accommodating meetings from 2 to 75 people. The luxuriously appointed lobby, business lounge, state-of-the-art ShoreTel telephony, and an extensive menu of support services all allow clients to benefit from a highly professional business image.
CEO of Pacific Business Centers Laurent Dhollande said, "I could not be happier with the opportunity to integrate one of the best run business centers west of The Rockies into our network. The location in the center of town is ideal and the quality of the operation hard to match. But the real win for our company is Sasha Poljak’s addition to our executive bench."
The partnership is part of PBC’s “reverse roll-up” strategy, which Dhollande said is aimed at partnering with top echelon operators. “The regional Managing Partners bring their expertise and local market knowledge, while PBC provides economies of scale and opportunities to open new locations in partnership with local landlords,” he said.
Other participants in the Managing Partner program include Tracy Conway Wilson, a long time successful owner-operator herself, whose independent operation joined PBC to grow the company’s portfolio in the Sacramento area. Wilson now manages three locations in the Sacramento area and is starting a fourth company under the PBC umbrella.
In 2008, PBC merged with American Executive Center (AEC), acquiring two locations in the Silicon Valley area. The centers were owned by Keith Warner and his brother Jeff Warner. “Joining PBC allowed us to upgrade our technology platform and leverage marketing and operating capabilities that were unthinkable as a small operator,” said Keith Warner, PBC Managing Partner.
PBC’s partner model is inspired from the organizational model present in many law firms and consulting firms where equity partners are co-owners of the company, contribute to the management of the overall infrastructure, but remain vested in the long-term success of their local portfolio because close proximity to the customer is critical to the entire organization’s success.
PBC now offers executive suites and virtual offices at 16 California locations throughout the San Francisco Bay Area, San Diego County, and Bakersfield, under 4 different names: Pacific Business Centers, American Executive Centers, Home Office Business Centers, and ValleyHQ. Pacific Business Centers, American Executive Centers and ValleyHQ are all Members of ALLIANCE Business Centers NETWORK.
