Museum Geelvinck Business Centre is one of the most unique business centers in the world. Situated in an Amsterdam canal mansion known as the Geelvinck Hinlopen Huis, the house was built in 1687 by a wealthy merchant and city official Albert Geelvinck. The main house and its former carriage house are separated by a magnificent garden. The two buildings were restored to their original splendor about twenty years ago and the museum opened its doors in 1991. The permanent exhibition concentrates on the period rooms from the 2nd part of the 18th and the early 19th centuries. It includes a collection of 17th Century Dutch Old Master paintings. The estate features two late 18th century table pianos, and on Sunday afternoons, they offer a series of intimate chamber music concerts of period music.

In 2004, the concept of a boutique business center around the museum emerged. Of their clientele, Roland said, "They are those who enjoy working in prestigious and monumental surroundings." The museum and its grounds serve as a source of   for clients and visitors.

"Personally, as a professional designer having a background in the creative sector, I enjoy the combination of the cultural and the business part of my work as managing director. Probably, our personal touch also differentiates us from our colleagues in the field. We warmly welcome all visitors both for the museum and the business centre alike."

The NETWORK is proud to have this unique center in our Membership and feature them as our Cool Member this month.
